Once into the top of Ghorepani and at Pun Hill you will be in the midst of Amphitheater of snow peaks Annapurna (26,545ft-8,091m) Other major peaks overlooking the include the Annapurna south (23,693ft-7,219m), Gangapurna (24,457ft.-7,455m) and Annapurna Dhaulagiri massif mountain range and as far towards east to Mt. Manaslu.
Our return journey, descend through the lush terraced Modi Khola valley and finally concluding the adventure at Pokhara, a popular destination with its famed Phewa Lake, dominated by the towering mountain range of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu range including the majestic peak Machapuchere (Fish-Tail).
Pokhara is one of the most unique sub-tropical valley in the Himalaya and probably in the world, where one can marvel the beauty of the Himalayan landscape and reflection of the Annapurna massif including the towering majestic peak of Mt. Machapuchere on its beautiful lakes.. Pokhara is situated in the mid western Nepal. It is linked by the main highway of 200 km driving distance from Kathmandu, and by air approximately 20 to 30 minutes flight with a sweeping panoramic views of the mid east to western Himalayan ranges.
Mother Nature has certainly blessed this fertile valley with outstanding scenery of the landscapes, snow capped mountains, moderate tropical climate, and beautiful pristine lakes of Begnas, Rupa and Phewa.
The most stunning of Pokhara’s sights is the magnificent panorama of the Annapurna range which forms its backdrop. Annapurna massif includes Annapurna I to IV and Annapurna South. Among these high peaks it is the towering majestic Mt. Machapuchere (Fish Tail) which dominates all others in this range. Pokhara with its natural beauty is also a starting point of Nepal’s most popular adventure destinations. Most of the trekking, mountaineering expeditions begins from this remarkable place and it’s a also an ideal spot for all types of holiday makers.

On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport you will be received by our staff and escort you to the Hotel, our guide will give you a brief orientation of the Hotel, Kathmandu, Treks, do’s and don’t and other related information that you might require while in Nepal.
After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest.
Early breakfasts, then travel by air or a Deluxe Coach to Pokhara on the busy scenic highway. This is an interesting drive through the foothills of the Himalaya. The road has been greatly improved in recent years.
On reaching Pokhara transfer to Hotel for the overnight stop by the lake Phewa with time for a short walk around.
A two hours drive in the morning leads to Nayapul the gate way to many Annapurna destinations the newly built Chinese Pokhara Baglung highway to Nayapul which is on the outskirt of Pokhara Valley where the trek begins the approx 3-4 hours trek, the trail meanders on the gradual slope following the River Modi upstream to Bhirethati one of the most charming village on this route. From here the walk leads slowly on the cool shade of the thin woodlands, trek continues passing through farm lands, small scattered villages and farm terraces on the gradual path for a while, then the path climbs to Hille and Tirkhedhunga.
The walk from here leads to a steep climb on the stone steps for an hour or more to Ulleri village, on reaching Ulleri which is quite a large Gurung village with traditional houses with slated roof. From here the path meanders to a winding gradual through the cool shade of the forest of rhododendron, magnolia, oaks and pines trees till you reach Ghorepani for the overnight, Ghorepani offers great views of Dhaulagiri range of mountains and as well of Annapurna South and Vara Shikhar Himal here the people are of Pun Magar ethnic tribe the mid hills people like the Gurungs.
Early morning hike to Pun hill before breakfast, if the day is clear for the grand panorama of great eight thousander Himalayan peaks along with the beautiful sunrise over the snow capped peaks. Pun hill which is about an hour walk uphill, from here trek down to Ghorepani and continue walk to Tadapani, the walk first leads through thick forest of Rhododendron on up hill path on reaching the top ridge which almost the height of Pun hill, the path descends through a gorge coming to another village called Bhanthati. After lunch here, the walk leads through the forest on the downhill path on reaching at a small stream, an hour climb brings you at Tadapani a settlement of 8-10 houses serving as Lodges for the trekkers, Tadapani offers awesome views of Annapurna South, Annapurna II and IV and beyond towards east and the sunrise from this place is equally captivating.
After a wonderful time at Tadapani with great views of the Annapurna and beyond, walk leads through the enchanting forest with occasional views of the Annapurna mountain range, the walk leads downhill passing through few small villages till Ghandrung is reached for lunch. Ghandrung a major large village of this area and the walk from here is all downhill to the bridge at Phedi for an hour or more, after the bridge over the raging Modi River, a slow walk uphill for another hour to the village of Landrung for the overnight stop.
After Landrung the walk is moderate most of the way on the winding path overlooking beautiful landscape scenery and of Annapurna south, the trek leads to a last uphill for an hour at Deurali, on reaching the top of the hill, the walk leads downhill through the forest till a small settlement at Pothana is reached. Pothana located in the midst of the cool alpine forest overlooking grand view of the Annapurna range including the majestic Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish Tail) and of the Pokhara Valley.
From Pothana walk leads on the stone paved path passing through the cool forest for another 40 minutes till Australian Camp or Thulo-Kharka is reached for the overnight stop, a fabulous spot with grand panorama of Annapurna and Mananslu range of mountains.
After a good time here with the great views, the last day the walk leads on the gentle winding downhill trail to Kande where you board on the Bus for an hour drive to Pokhara. On reaching at Pokhara within the Phewa Lake side area, check into the Hotel with time for afternoon stroll.
As per the flight time schedule this scenic flight reaches you back to Kathmandu on arrival at Kathmandu domestic airport, our staff will receive and transfer you back to the Hotel.
